Welcome to the PIRATA/Tropical Atlantic Variability workshop 2026

The PIRATA/Tropical Atlantic Variability Workshop 2026 will be held from 16–20 November 2026 in Marseille, in the south of France. The main purpose of the meeting is to bring together the PIRATA community and, more broadly, the Tropical Atlantic community, and to foster interactions. The program will include presentations on PIRATA and Tropical Atlantic topics, keynote talks from invited external speakers, and will strongly emphasize participants’ contributions. Topics may cover any activities related to PIRATA and the Tropical Atlantic.
