Welcome to the PIRATA/Tropical Atlantic Variability workshop 2026

Dates : 17 to 20 November 2026

Place : Fort Ganteaume 2 Bd Charles Livon, 13007 Marseille

The PIRATA/Tropical Atlantic Variability Workshop 2026 will be held from 17–20 November 2026 in Marseille, in the south of France. The main purpose of the meeting is to bring together the PIRATA community and, more broadly, the Tropical Atlantic community, and to foster interactions. Topics may cover any activities related to PIRATA and the Tropical Atlantic.

Registered participants can participate through Zoom.

Submitted abstracts may concern Climate Variability, Ocean Dynamics, Biogeochemistry, Instrumentation, and any activities related to PIRATA campaigns. Both observational and numerical studies are welcome !

The deadline for abstract submission is July 1st 2026.
